French Version[]
The French version of “Picking Berries” was first teased on October 17, 2022, on an Instagram live. Lolo said that she was looking for an artist to collaborate with on the French version of the song. This version was once again teased on Lolo’s TikTok on January 28, 2023, with a snippet of the French pre-chorus. It was then assumed to be on a deluxe version of the PLAYGIRL album which was later debunked on the VIPLAYGIRL Q&A session as the PLAYGIRL album will not have a deluxe version. Eventually on June 21, 2023, Lolo announced on Twitter that the song would probably never see a release, sharing the French version of the first verse.
