Lolo Zouaï posted a preview of the song on Instagram on June 24, 2021, ahead of its release on June 30th, 2021. On June 25th, Lolo posted a tweet saying: "This is the CRAZIEST song Stelios and I have ever made".

On August 26th, 2021. Lolo posted a remix featuring South Korean singer BIBI on her YouTube channel.

On an Instagram live following the release of her sophomore album, PLAYGIRL, Lolo stated that she tried to include Galipette on her album, but it didn't fit in with the other tracks.
